I need to know if I can use a 87 block with the hot air set up if so how ? The block that I am trying to use is a sg1 109 block but I see it has a hole in the front of the block on the pass side I think it might be for the oil return also it has a hole in the back of the block on driver's side both holes are threaded so can anyone give me some info

your correct about the one in the front of the block (turbo oil return). The one in the back of the block is for the knock sensor.

Yes u can use the block. the oil drain for a hotair motor is in the intake manifold, passenger side. The threaded hole you see on the rear drivers side may be for the knock sensor?

and yes to using the sg1 block to go hot air. Question is why not intercooled? You'd be giving up some big performance not going intercooled
