with the car off the ground it shouldnt take more than 5 to 10 minutes.if your replacing the servo with a larger one this will greatly improve the 1/2 shift and slightly improve the 2/3 shift.you will also extend the band life by reducing the slip time between the band and the drum during application.never remove the cushion spring as suggested with some servos as this will result in shift shock.a good valve body kit and servo such as ours will greatly improve transmission performance .our kit includes a pressure regulator spring,tv boost valve ,reverse intermediate boost valve,new seperator plate,1/2 and 3/4 accumulator springs,3/4 accumulator piston,line bias and accumulator valve springs,all necessary gaskets and instructions.
