service manual

For GM factory service manual used in dealerships, best places to look are ebay or auto swap meet, though they don't surface too much, also put a post on this board in the parts wanted section. It only comes in one form and that is a two volumn ( each the size of a very large phonebook) that covers all the Buicks for 1985, and the info is all mixed into the two, so you have to get both. Price could vary $50 for a beat up used one to $150 for a never used one, again the price can vary, good luck.

If that fails you can still get a new one from www.helminc.com
The only way they sell these is for all the 1985 Buick models and you get about 50 pounds worth of shop manual. Bad news is they are going for $200.00!

get a cutlas regal book from autozone

it'll have all the engine torque specs for the 3.8

be sure when it comes to the head bolts you look at directions for the style bolts you use

keep in mind also if you go to replace the head bolts 86-87 motors use longer bolts and wont work in a 85 or earlier block

my manual's in my head :D

if ya get stumped Im just across the water from ya
