I can hear and feel a rattling sound coming from the serpentine belt tensioner. I installed a new pulley bearing no change, I bought a new Dayco pulley with no change. I then noticed that the inside diameter of the bearing is slightly bigger than the outside diameter of the shaft on the tension assembly and has a little side to side play. Has anyone had any issues with the replacement bearing/pulley for our cars. Where can I purchase a new serpentine belt tension assembly ? Thanks, Kyle.

You might try a shorter belt. I got a 1/2 inch shorter belt and it kept enough tension to keep the tensioner from bouncing around.

The Dayco brand belts work great.

If you take the belt off and take it with you to the auto parts store they have the tool to measure it for you, then just get one 1/2'' shorter then what it measured.
