Sept Update / Scan Tool Results ??, Knock ?

2 Questions: My Car is running GREAT, almost tuned...

1. How does the knock gauge work and how can you tell when it is bad and not the engine... for example... lately it seems to go "green yellow red" to the beat of a song or cruising down the road with no foot on the pedal...
could the rough roads or a simple problem, it never happend until recently driven twice now... I have instant acceleration 0-15 pounds boost hitting at 2nd shift chirps the tires... nothing seems wrong witht the car, yet the gauge comes on like xmas tree cruising... I'm thinking somethign is loose with knock gauge... for it to come on twice in past week or so...

2. What do my SCAN TOOL numbers mean???

Replaced Spark Plug Wires, Coil Pack, PCV
AC Delco 52 Oil Filter with ZDDP

I've made some changes to my setup
and currently it seems my BLM is consistently at 115, 117 ever since I've owned the car March 2008 and made changes...

Sept 29 UPDATE: INSTALLED LS1 MAF/Translator = ALL GOOD!

Replaced stock MAF becuz of higher than normal AF #'s.
Therefore, started the summer 2010 with 20#'s boost, no knock = bad fuel.
Replaced O2 Sensor, only to replace it again - one month later with heated O2 sensor...

Added or Replaced spark plugs (NGK UR5 gapped tight at .030), wires, ignition coil pack, hotwire/fuel feeder kit, LS1 - 3" MAF with Translator, stainless steel exhaust hanger.

Scanmaster Numbers as of Sept 29, 2010 with new maf/trans.
up to 20 #'s boost
O2 = 734
AF = 4
L8 = 32
Bat = 13.5 - 14.0
INT = 128
blm = 121
r = 800
tps = .44
IAC = 28

Looks ok. You could leave it as is. However, if you want to bring the idle BLM up a little more, you can change the MAF BASE setting (inside the Translator), to "5". You should have already had it at "3" to start with for the 3 in. MAF. "5" is the slightly leaner setting. After you change it, I would reset the ECM to let it learn over again.

I saw instant changes and then wondered what needed to be changed first, to raise blm... 5 it is... thank you

Wish I would have updated maf and translator when I updated chip and injectors...
 
FINALLY TUNED w/Turbo Tweak 93 Chip, Injectors, LS1 MAF with Translator

OCTOBER 2, 2010 -- TESTED CURRENT SET UP
good up to 20 pounds boost... no knock...
Installed LS1-3" MAF with Translator along with
Turbo Tweak 93 Chip & 60# Injectors, translator base setting = 5.

SCANMASTER RESULTS after road trip, taken at idle.
