After a very dissapointing experience at the track, (first time), I have finally decided to get a scan tool. My car seems solid, and drives good on the street and is very reliable. So I figure my low time "17.12" 
, are from being WAY out of tune.
Question is where can I get a scantool for the best price? I'd even be willing to take a used one to get started. Keep in mind this is an 85 t-type (hot air), but I do have an 87 ecm in it.
I figured that I need to get it in the ballpark as far as tuning before I start hitting everyone with "How can I go faster", questions.
