I have an 85 t type I transplanted an 87engine in the car with the ecu and harness and kept the hot air motor and everything
my question is I would like to put the hot air engine back in for while I do some work to the87 engine ..will I have to change the harness or can I keep using the 87 harness and ecm with the corresponding chip.. I am just wondering so I can see what I would have to take back out so I can put the hot air one back in for someuse.
I saved all the plugs wires and everything else I guess it wouldn't be that bad to pull the harness through the firewall again I would like to use the 87 ecu so my scanmaster and powerlogger can work as they were and if the harness could stay that would make it way more of a smoother swap
