I believe this is the world's fastest Toyota Corolla as well as the fastest Toyota 4banger as it is powered by the 2.0L turbo motor (3SGTE) from the Toyota MR2. Been watching these guys for a while down here as they are locals and I have seen them a bunch of times at PBIR (formally Moroso).

No doubt, I don't think they could pay me to get into that thing with that short W/B but the driver (Alex Dieguez) has always been great at driving this little rocket down the 1320 and I give him credit for having the ballz to do it!

BTW, Alex Dieguez had and may still have a Stage2 Ttype that was actually featured a while back in Turbo Magazine.:cool:
 
My cousin is into these older corollas and theres quite a few of these guys that get into these things. I think alot of guys on the east coast are into them. Buicks are better though.
 
Impressive when they do run.. But as most of us have seen they only make clean runs 10% of the time.
