You purchase a spacer to lower the stock pickup. A shorter spacer if no block girdle, a longer one for use with a block girdle.

It's supposed to come with a spacer right? I have this same pan and I'm pretty sure i didn't pay extra for it. But no biggie, can get another from RJC.
