Hello all, one of the lines running from my transmission to the radiator is leaking fluid near the starter due to rust/corrosion. I would like to replace both lines and was wondering How difficult of a job it is? Is it something that can be done with a jack and stands? Thanks in advance

Certainly can do this.get hold classic tube, order new lines, jack the car up and finagle them in, not to difficult.

In all the tranny cooler lines I have installed, at least the starter and pass side engine mount must be removed or you will bend the hell out of new lines.

If you have and know how to use a flaring tool and and a tubing bender, you can duplicate them easily enough.

Thanks for the advice Nick, I removed the starter and pass engine mount and was able to finagle them out. I had already ordered the lines but I will probably invest in a flaring tool and bender for future projects.
