Im replacing ring and pinion due to a chipped ring gear, i have heavy duty u-joints on driveshaft, should i replace the yoke w a heavy duty unit.

If you’re already at 11.38; and you have the thing apart anyway; it’s probably a good time to upgrade. I don’t know what the limit is on a stock one; but it would cost a lot more to fix it later.

Yeah, i already have a hd ujoint. I dont think ive heard of any failures either. Anybody else have opinions.

Bigger is better, however it will cost $300+/- to upgrade entire driveline to 1350 series. If your yoke slides on and off the splines on the new pinion easily,it is stretched or worn a little. It should require a gear puller to remove yoke.
