Replacing front suspension, upper ball joint questions

I am in the middle of replacing my stock stuff on my 87 TR with a PST super kit.

When I assemble the upper ball joint I put the ball joint through the top of the control arm, then install the boot on the bottom with the metal thing that slides over the boot, is that right?

Do the bolts for the ball joints go in from the top or bottom?

What is the torque spec for the bolts that hold the upper ball joint to the control arm?

Thanks

The ball joints drop in then pull the rubber sleave through the metal sleave until it pulls through leaving the lip connected to the metal sleave. Bolts on the bottom, nuts on top. Torque I believe was 20lbs nothing harsh I just tightened with socket wrench.
