Remove XFI if welding??

Ok, the car goes in for body work and paint today. Should I remove the XFI box if any welding gets done on the car?

If the car is electrically dead, IE: the battery is disconnected, out, welding won't be an issue.
IMO, I'd take it out, as it's more likely to "get gone" rather than being damaged.
