reds chip and maf screen?

do all reds chips require running a maf screen?
if so why? and is that why my car runs to rich driving?
this thing get about 12 miles to the gallon

What are the idle and cruise BLM numbers like?

Where do you have the vacuum line off FP set to?

You should be able to run a current Reds93 009 injector chip without ANY screens when the weather is warm out, and only one when it gets below about 45* outside temp.

Need more info please.
