I have an '87 GN with a posi-rearend and experiencing a rearend noise. Removed the rearend and found the left side carrier bearing noticably worn. Does anyone know the cross-refernce number to use Timken carrier bearings or can point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help you can give.

Look on the brg race. There should be numbers, and/or letters on it. Most any brg house, good auto parts can cross it over.

Should be LM 501349 cone and LM 501314 cup....industry standard numbers for any brand.Timken recognized to be the best but BCA or SKF/CR or even Koyo are good quality.Just stay away from China generic look -alikes
