Rear end guy in Chicago area?

I bought a rear end off of a board member here and it's making noise

Before it does any more damage, I want someone who knows what they are doing to inspect it and fix it before it gets any worse. Just started making a whining noise.

The guy owns a chassis shop, but I figure if he didn't do it right the first time he's not going to help out the second time around either.

Don't have alot of money right now, so someone who really knows their stuff but does it on the side would be awesome.

Nobody knows how to work on rear ends in chicago???? Yikes.

Mike @ Trans Pros in Lansing IL. He is due back tuesday from Pinks in Indiana.
If you disconnect the driveshaft are you getting alot of lash between the ring and pinion gears? If not it may be a bearing.:frown:
