Guys come someone give me some quick guidance . I'm trying to change out the axle bearings, there is this s shaped spring in the way and I have no idea how to remove it so that I can get to the C-clips.

Picure of it is here:

How do I remove this thing so I can get to the c clips. Is this S block on all cars?

You dont need to remove the s-spring just remove the pin bolt slide out the center pin then push the axles in the c-clips should fall off if not i use a magnet sometimes!

Rotate assembly 90* degrees one way or the other. There is a smallish bolt that hold in a center pin, the bolt goes down on the right side.

I finally got it, didn't take 2 minutes.
I was OVER thinking things.
I'm on the road again, Thank you.

I would have changed the gears as well being you have a chipped tooth on the ring gear:eek:
