Quick Oil Mod Question For The Experts

We are doing the main main oil feed hole mod and we are thinking that the holes in the main bearings would also have to be enlarged to show any increase in flow. We are going to drill the feeds to 5/16 as we think that the 3/8 holes would be too large using a std volume oil pump. If there are any of the experts out there that have some input we would really enjoy hearing what you have to say. We like hearing views from all sides.

Not an expert, but we have never drilled the oil feed holes for the mains and never lost a bearing in the many motors we have done?

Would suggest the oil pump cover has the passages enlarged to supply the additional flow of oil then needed.
