can i use a regular pulley puller that u can rent from a local auto part store to remove the s/c pulley

Worse yet, you will most likely bend the SC shaft that the pulley is pressed on to!! Whatever you do, don't do it. www.3800performance.com rents out pullers when you buy a pulley from them.
