Question about torqueing head bolts

I'm gonna install GN1's this weekend. When I've noticed in the past when torqueing head bolts in the proper sequence I noticed if you torqe a few and go back and check the ones you already torqued they seem to need more torqueing again is it supposed to be like that. Or when you get them to there max torque dont go back to them again?

Yeah, that's the gasket compressing, usually. The GN1 uses a precompressed gasket, or something like that. I just kept torquing in sequence until I felt they where to spec. Min.75'#.
The intake does the same thing as you start torquing it down..
I guess the important part is to torque it down evenly in small increments.
