question about Jersey Style DP

i just bought a THDP from a guy, and he said it is a Jersey Style, i didnt know what that meant well when i got it today, i noticed that it has a dump on the bend going to the cat, wil my car have trouble passing inspection with this on there, what i am trying to ask is will they fail me because it has the cap to open it up before the cat?

Technically, that style DP is not legal. That is all I can say on the issue.
