Question about Ignition Control Module testing

It’s pretty well know when ignition modules start to fail, they like to start acting up when our cars get up to operating temps. Could an ignition module (in it’s early stages of failure) test good on the bench at the parts store since it is at a cooler temperature?
I’m currently chasing down an off-idle miss/hesitation. Code 41. Code points to the cam sensor which I will be replacing this weekend, but if this problem continues, I will move on to the ignition module (since the car runs fine until it reaches operating temps). It tested good at Autozone which is why I asked the question above.

Thanks.
