gofstbuick: you will probably know this one :)

I'm looking at buying a 97+ Regal GS or Pontiac GTP. One modification I would want to do to it is a intercooler. I know on the turbo cars intercoolers are 'of no concerne' for California smog, would the same be true of the IC for a supercharged car? The IC sandwiches between the SC and the intake.

The IC is here http://www.zzperformance.com/zzp/products/intercooler.htm

ASSuming that the IC doesn't disable the EGR or anything like that I would think it wouldn't be a problem.

I don't know yet. It's being discussed by engineering. I just didn't want to leave you hanging. Will have an answer soon.

I still have not heard form engineering. But will get an answer to you, by posting and or calling.

News flash! Just heard from engineering and their interpretation is that it makes no difference whether the intercooler is for a turbocharger or supercharger (still an item that is not of concern).

Thanks! Youre the man!

Now I just need to find a NICE GS or GTP... Thats proving harder than I thought.
