I'm currently running a close cousin to it shown in my combo below. Makes for a Great street/strip turbo.
I'm curently running a 2800 stall and would definately recommend going looser. prob 3200-3400 would be perfect. Even with being short on converter I ran the times shown in 100% street trim and minimal tuning.
From my experience, yes it is a good turbo.
You will need a good converter, though.
11.30/119 mph made me a believer.
This with stock heads and Art Carr 9" converter.
With ported heads and a cam, maybe mid to high 10's.
I would do a search on this turbo...plenty of talk about it...
it's a great street/strip turbo, plenty of guys in the low 11's on nearly stock motors...I went 11.50's @ 118 with a bone stock motor last year...trying for high 10's whenever I get my bugs worked out!
