PRO & bad Hooker Donwpipe

:confused:someone here told me to change my hooker DP

someone can help me decide whether to keep it or replace it with another.

know if you have any advantages or disadvantages this DP
 
Yeah if I'm not mistaken it's a 3" that uses the stock elbow?

I think I have one up at my Dad's house.:confused: Used to be on my brother's car.

Depends on your performance goals I guess...the factory elbow isn't terrible but it's not the greatest either...

The one my brother had used the stock elbow/wastegate flapper and it came with a set of hooker headers so I assumed it was a hooker piece.
 
I bought this thing from street performance back in 92. Its 2 1/2 . this pipe was decent. I know the Hooker headers sucked.Better off with stock manifolds. This stuff will be up for sale soon

Hooker made 2. One used the stock elbow, the other used a racegate. Both were 2 3/4" I believe.

Well there ya go:D.

If I could find another stock elbow hooker downpipe I might hack em up and use em on the stock elbows for my twin turbo V8 project for my 65 Plymouth...:cool:
 
I had one on my 86 WH-1 about 15 years ago with a Deltagate and in-cab controller. I loved it! If any of you want to sell, i may be interested...
