My brake idiot light comes on briefly just after starting up the car. Upon braking the light flashes on briefly (2-3 seconds) then goes out. This occurs only for the first two minutes or so of driving, then no break light.
The pedal feels fine to me in terms of normal travel and pedal effort.
The car has 30,000 miles and I have replaced the accumulator once.
If I am not mistaken if the accumulator is bad, panic stopping will cause the idiot light to come on very briefly. So far as I can tell this doesn't occur with my GN.
Any ideas? I kinda hope its the accumulator since it is so easy to fix.
