Powder Coated Black Grand National Rims, Tires and Caps...

Ended up making my old CCW's fit the car so selling my stock (powdercoated) rims and tires.

Drag Radials on the back have about 100 miles on them, no passes.

Front tires have even ZERO miles on them (forgot the brand, bought through Firestone)

Rims were powder coated black while I've been building the car and have NO miles on them.

Most of the caps are brand new I bought as replacements.

Rims are all stock sizes rear tires are 275/60 Nitto Drag Radials

Powder alone was $400, tires were $600, caps were about $200... of course that doesn't include the rims, lol.

I'll start there though. Asking $1000 obo pick up in the Los Angeles area (Sun Valley to be exact, just sitting at the shop) or $1200 shipped in the 48 states...

NOTE: Ignore the "body kit". We were bored waiting on parts and goofing around with cardboard...

I have ABSOLUTELY no need for them no since I'm going with the CCWs so make an offer and help me clear up some space, lol!

The problem with the price as I see it is that they now don't look a heck of a lot different than a set of Unique / Cragar Soft 8's
A little - but still close.
And those rims can be had for 50-60 bucks a piece.
Not that I don't like the look - I do.
Even if they were driver + or show quality rims with the chrome, plus the rubber and the center caps - the $1000 bucks for "used" - might still be a push.

I think the fronts are Primewell Valera series.
Primewell = not Prime and not Well. ;)
I've had Primewells sling the tread at 60 mph on auction bought cars.
They are all the rage at the auto auctions for slapping a piece of rubber on a rim and calling it a tire! :D

I oft wondered how the powder coat responds to the tire & wheel monkeys
But then it dawned on me of course, that the black wheels I buy must be powder coated.
Duh.
I love the look they look awesome glws

Me too...:D
I just did this on a whim while cleaning my other wheels. (Cheapskate)

I think his look better than the big holes in the Soft 8's

100_2834.JPG I had my GN rims powder coated black - I love them and can't tell you how many compliments I've had. Get asked about them a lot.
I think the 4 powder coated rims and 4 tires for 800 or obo is a very fair price. And center caps.
GLWS! :)

If I had another grand national I would buy your rims!
