Hello everyone,

Just bought a 87 T-Type and I am needing some info. One of the previous owners made the rear-end in this car a "lincoln locker".

Welded the open diff up. Needless to say Im needing to fix this.

I need to find a posi unit for this rear, and am looking for info different options. Eaton, Auburn, stock posi, etc.

Like to know if you guys have preference one way or the other. Also whom has the best prices.

Thanks,
John in texas

I bought an Eaton posi from Jack Cotton because my car came with an open diff.

If you want my stock diff, send me your name, address and $20 and I'll send it to you.

It's a nice, cheap solution to get your car running until you can fork out the big bucks for the limited slip differential of your choice.

I ran a 2.146 60' time with this stock diff on BF Goodrich 265 street radials.

Thanks Lyonsd,

Ill keep that in mind, sure hate to go open leg. Id like to get some more opinions. Anyone know who has a good price on posi's.
:)
