With the old Direct Scan, we used to see code 42 due to noise.
We don't see that with the powerloggers, but its possible. so one check would be to remove the PL temporarily to see if noise is getting in there

Noise issues were intermittent, this doesn't sound like that, but it never hurts to be sure

could it be bad spark plug wires arcing and hitting the coil pack?

got cracks in them here and there .well even the the code 42 and car starts shouldn't it start with the tr6 gonna try to put it back on again .cause it didnt the 1st time I tried it.
