High temp for sure will be your best bet to last a long time. VHT black at a auto parts store

I got my innercooled in my WE4 powder coated gloss black looks really nice. For my front mount I had the unit blasted at my coaters and painted it with extreme chassis black from Eastwood.

Painting or coating coolers of any kind inhibit them from dissipating heat.

If your painting a stock innercooler who cares about heat dissipation. If your using one your probably not racing or blowing the pants off of anybody in the first place.

i had a little oil but not too much. used that purple degreaser, then i hooked the vacuum to it and let it run till no water came out. i appreciate the replies gonna stop at the store today and pick up some vht and rattle can it.

They actually make a thermal dispersing coating. That promotes heat transfer.

Yes! If your going to paint it use the correct materials. If your not worried about dissipating heat take the IC off and save some weight!!
