One of those Jersey Questions...

Upgrading my exhaust soon from stock to something much better in prep for my next round of Spring mods.

My question really centers on the cat. Should I leave it, put a high flow one in its place or put a test pipe and be done with it??? I have historic tags BUT I think the cat is supposed to remain. Jersey!

What are the odds of being pulled over and having the cat checked?

IMHO - Check your local Car shows and Cruise Nights... see how many blatantly modded and even "Pro-Street"-looking cars have QQ tags
Obviously it would not be "100% by the book", but it seems like the chances for any problems are pretty slim to me

I've been driving forever with no cat, and many of those with an open dump and never had a problem with the law. But of course I never do anything bad on the street
