Oldsmobile gauge cluster in a GN?

I know there are several aftermarket gauge clusters for these cars. I am wondering if anyone has ever used the gauges out of a 442 from the late 80's instead?

I have several gauge clusters lying around and I think one would look sweet in the GN.

I found a link that talks about replacing the sweeping spedo in a cutlass with the gauges from a 442. I just wonder if the same would work for a GN.

It wont work without replacing the entire dash and harness. Trust me, everyone tries to think of an easy way around it. There really is no easy way without doing some major cutting/modifications. I am currently writing a DIY article on how to make your own GNX style dash. Be patient. It will be completed within the next few weeks.
