OK, cars back together and running but....

It's not making any boost. Car's a dog right now. I spent all morning putting the new turbo on which is a pt53. I'm hoping its just the flapper valve on the THDP. Now I've got an older style THDP and the wastegate puck is 1 1/4". The new turbo I believe it's just alittle smaller than that so it should be ok. Any ways of actually finding out what the problem is without having to disconnect the down pipe from the turbo? Any help is appreciated.
BTW, there are no exhaust leaks else where.

Problem solved!

It seemed I forgot to removed a rag from the compressor housing. It just hasnt been my week so far.

Well when you stuff a rag into the compressor housing and its stuffed against the turbine, it makes it kinda hard to spin freely.

yup it seems fine. It was actually one of those blue shop towels. It wasnt shredded up or torn so there must not have been alot of pull on it. I think it'll pull through.
