Oil/Temp sending unit wire color?

I`m installing a GNX style dash on my `87 T Type, it currently has aftermarket electric oil and water temp guages (which I will then remove). They have their own wires running to them thru the firewall.

I found a both a pink and dark green wire near the front of the engine and am not sure if these are the ones I need for the guages in the dash cluster.

Basically all I need to know is what the colors are that go to the oil and water temp sending units.

Green is for the water and the brown wire on the oil sending unit …it is the center wire on the stock sending unit…I am thinking that you are putting a tee as the GNX did and adding a single wire sending unit…. :biggrin:
