oil drain bolt question

I drilled out the two bolt holes in the stock oil drain flange to bolt it up to an upgraded turbo that requires the larger bolts at the drain flange. If I went back to something like a 49 which is the stock center section I believe, will going back to the smaller bolts leave too much slack with the flange holes enlarged like that? Any sort of bushing or anything to take up the slack? Or do I have to buy a new one.

You should be able to go back to the smaller bolts, the only thing you may have to do is put washers on them and make sure the drain tube is lined up with the housing while tightening.

On that same note, simply glueing the oil drain line and gasket to the turbo during installation, using high temp copper silicone, would be plenty sufficient to quill any leaks.
