oil cooler ?

been chassing oil leak for a while and, finally found it . the oil cooler plate has crack in it and when i went to inspect it there was a stop or a lip that was crackked also.my question is since there discontinued and the car is not a daily driver is it ok to remove it?and, can i still use biggie filter adapter

Alot of people eliminate this. The biggie filter adapter should still work.

GM installed a oil cooler for a reason. Its fine for a track car to remove it but on a street car you will lose alot of oil pressure hot, which is not a good thing.

i thought hot airs didn't have coolers either?

you need the oil cooler adapter to use the biggie filter adapter
