I have a competly stock 87 GN I have noticed it has a rough idle, I took the pipe off going into the pleneum and noticed oil. Is this normal? How can I get rid of it if it is not normal?

Pull off the tube from the from the pass. side valve cover to the inlet bell and replace it with a breather. Cap off the inlet boss on the bell. Sounds like you should also pull out the intercooler, clean it and reinstall. This is further detailed in the "Spring cleaning" section on www.gnttype.org.
If it continues, it could be turbo seals.

Not to scare you, but a bad bearing in the turbo could cause excessive oil in the ic, check for play in the intake side of the turbo. A little is fine, as is a little oil in the ic.
