Can I remove the oil fill tube and just replace it with an oil cap right out of the valve cover instead of having that long neck tube ?

How many people have done this ? What oil cap can I get so that it will fit properly ?

What do you all use to cap off the hole that comes out of the air inlet stock pipe ?

i dont know the answer to you question but i'd suggest getting a Billet piece...got mine from postons for $47 shipped....expensive but nice quality and MUCH better looking....pics in the sig if u want to see a b4/after

its called a Chrome steel Maf pipe
its pretty sharp looking over that plastic PoS

it costs $95 tho

look under 84-5 turbo regal section

i bought a new one, instead of attempting to plug that hole, that the oil breathe used

just some ideas :D

I haven't changed the valve cover cap yet but I disconnected the hose leading to the intake tube. I used a large rubber cap from a package of vacuum plugs/caps. (I found it on one of those 'Help!' rotaing parts stands you can find in auto parts stores) Check the vendors on this site or http://Gnttype.org for other vendor listings regarding a valve cover breather cap. Good luck.

dont cap the fill tube it has to vent

I used an Edelbrock chrome breather.

It came with a rubber grommet for the valve cover and then you push in the chome piece. It breathes, its cheap and looks good too.
