Odd question.

I want to start out by saying the site looks pretty cool, and seems to have a lot of great info. You guys live and breath the Turbo Buick, so I figured this would be a good of place as any to ask this question.

I have a 99 V6 Camaro. It's got the 3.8 L 3800 Series II motor. Are the parts of the 3.8L 3800 Series I interchangeable with the Series II 3800?? I was thinking of going with a supercharger, but had toyed with the idea of getting a Grand National driveline, if I could find one hit in the back, for a relatively good price.....But then, I was wondering if the parts were interchangeable, to the point where I could just get the parts I need to do the switch from NA to turbo and stil use the 3800 Series II motor.

Any advice/suggestions/info/knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

i am pretty sure that the parts are not interchangable, but i could be wrong, look in the parts for sale section or go to www.gnttype.org and look in the turbotrader on there, there is usally a GN engine for sale on there...

Nothing will interchange. You could try a L67 swap, or an LC2 swap. Both would require alot of custom work, but less than trying to make a hybrid.

Right. Nothing is interchangeable except the connecting rod bolts.
