no oil pressure

I had my turbo rebuilt to a TA33c and installed it. When I started up the motor no oil pressure. I tried to prime the pump by putting oil back down through the turbo feed line but still no pressure. Pretty sure the problem is at the pump as it will not even fill the filter. Any ideas to prime the pump assuming that's the problem. I understand that I can take the pump apart pack it with vasoline. Any better ideas?

you're gonna have to take the pump apart and pack the rotors.

yep

try packing it with vasoilne and add like a extra quart or 2 of oil into the motor
