New Wheels & Backspacing

I just got a set of Torque Thrust style wheels.

18x8" wheels: 0mm offset (4.50" backspacing) 1 1/2" Lip Size
18x9" wheels: 0mm offset (5.00" backspacing) 2 1/2" Lip Size

When I installed the rear wheel I only have a fingers width of space between the inner wheel well.

Is that enought space or do I need spacers?

You should be fine. You may want to run a 1/4 spacer on the rears.

Is that the wheel to frame you have 1 finger gap or is that with the tire?... what size is the tire if so?

I have less than a 1/2 inch in the rears between the frame and tire. I dont hit at all. I run a 295/50R15 on stock wheels with a 1/4 rear spacer.

Yeah I know. Im saving for the 15x8's. Needed tires knowing I was going to upgrade to the wider wheels later.
