new fuel pump, still Knock

Installed new Walbro 340 w/ wiring kit yesterday. Running 11 PSI boost and 93 octane, and still getting about 3.5 degrees knock retard.
O2's are at or a bit above 800 for the most part.
 
More info

What else do you have in the line of info on the operational parameters??
IE: O2 x counts, TPS, MAf, rpm, op temp, inj DC, etc, etc??

Also, more info on the car: Mileage, internal engine mods, engine mount condition, elec system condition, "Spring cleaning" done????

What chip-octane of fuel-condition of injectors? Chip might be too"hot"for fuel,bad batch of fuel,one inj might be partially clogged and leaning out 1 cylender causing knock(learned hard way-blew head gasket).
 
Do you know a way to check your injs? I have 99k miles and i'm kinda scared of the same problem. I put some Slick50 inj cleaner a couple tanks ago.

Hard for shade tree to check. Get a gallon of tolulene or xylene and add to 1/2 tank and drive it out. It will clean them pretty good. With 99k it is about replacement time anyway. Buy a used set of green tops,stk flow but better design.
 
fuel lines

Check the rubber fuel lines between frame&engine-they rub together.
