New coil Pack ???

I just installed a new coil pack and drove the car around, ran fine,

park it for a couple of hours went to start it again and no start, looked under the hood and found the new coil pack had a crack/split at the top. engine cranks over no start and no RPMs on tach.
What would cause the coil pack to crack ? bad ignition module or just a faulty new coil ?

Engine never got over 180 deg +-when driving around for 1/2 hour.

Was the bracket secure? Maybe it was bouncing around during your drive. If you still have the old one put it back on to see if it starts. Good luck bro
