I know this is kind of preaching to the choir, since most on this board already have a Turbo Buick. Anyway I am trying to sell an 86 GN. I am getting out of the Navy and can't afford to keep it anymore. If any of you guys know anyone that is in the market for one here is the low down.
The car is has 93k original miles with 3k on a new engine.
Engine: Was built by Neal Steward. He built it to stock spec.
Block is .030 over with JE pistons and rings. Stock Rods
with ARP bolts. Stock heads with LT1 style springs and
stainless valves. Cam is a stock spec sealed power.
Stock turbo and intercooler. ARP Main studs were used
as well as ARP head bolts. Fel Pro gasketts were used
on everything.
Trans: Is the original 93k tranny that is starting to show its age.
Rear: Is also stock 93k
Chasis: Is rust free. Has KYB shocks on all corners. Last owner
installed ureathane control arm bushings that squeak,
have new bushings just have to be installed
Exh: Is all original with exception of flowmaster muffler and
new CATCO converter. Old piping does have a few leaks.
Tires: Are realativley new it has BFG Radial TAs with about 8k
miles on them.
Whls: Are stock GN with all caps present
Body: Is straight last owner had a 5k $ paint job done to it. It
does have one key scratch on the passenger side qtr
panel. Driver door as two small dings, passenger door
has one. Paint looks like a mirror when clean.
Int: Is clean with signs of normal age. Stock stereo, I've
installed a center console 2 pod guage set up with Oil
pres and Water temp auto meter guages.
Top: Car has T tops
Bad stuff: Power antenna is not working therefore radio stations don't come in well. Tape deck does work. Speakers are not the best but do work. When headlights are on radio does not light up. AC system is dry and is still on R12, came be converted to R134. Control arm squeak is annoying. Tranny shifts are not crisp.

The car is clean overall and can make for a good collector car or race car. Need to sell it fast first offer over 11k takes it.
