my 87's antenna went south and i'd like to keep a good battery without it draining it within 24 hours. just wanted to know the difficulty of replacing it, best way to to get it and for now how can i atleast kill the power to it so it's not constantanly whining and running my battery down. i saw a post but instead of cutting it i an seriously considering replacing it. is going through the wheel well the way to get to it or is there another route. i don't mind putting the effort to replace it but i don't want to cut corners unless i have to for now. the post i saw said something about fishing out a green wire if i'm correct and cutting it but i'd rather have my power antenna back as i'm sure they aren't real expensive. thanks for the help i've looked at it but i'm just getting to where i can work on it and i'd like to try and tackle it this weekend as it should be in the 50's here during the day. again any help is appreciated.
