Need some adivce...

i recently had the tranny redone and installed what i was told to be a restalled d5 rated at a 2800 flash stall which would be fine for a te-44, well the damn thing is only 2400 flash and she runs like a pig. Im thinking over getting a street brawler 3000 stall converter, walbro 340 and 50lbs. Is this going to be a disapointment as well? im shooting for low 12's. my mods are listed below. btw im in college and on a very tight budget so be kind

With my old combination I ran 11's with a stock convertor and a stock engine... just a TE34 with Blue Tops. That may be a good way to go.

I now have a single disk Precicion Vigilante lock up convertor and it is awesome!

if you change your converter, I would go with at least a 10" 3000 stall.

Have you tried an RJC boost controler? It will really help with the spool up & make that turbo liveable with a stock D5 converter.
