Need help!!

Hi all,

I've been slowly building as funds allow. So far from stock, I have replaced Air intake/MAF/ and sensor, new plugs/wires, and new RJC 3" downpipe/dump, walbro fuel pump/hotwire kit. All made a huge difference for about a week. Now when I start to build boost I get to about 5lbs and it starts to sound like a cat wailing under my hood then I lose all boost. My first thought goes to the turbo bearing, but supposably it was rebuilt about a year ago, and only has about 300 miles on it. I checked to see if anything was loose or off and cant find anything. I searched to forum but must not have the right search words. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Check the hose connections between the turbo/intercooler/intake pipe/throttle body. When loose the boost makes a noise like you describe.

It would be a good idea to invest in ones like RJC sells. Silicone with the vband clamps. That should solve your cat wailing issue.

You both are genius, i couldnt see it at first but somehow I blew the band clamp off with all my new found power. Thanks so much
