I'm attempting to replace my idler arm and center link, but I can't get the old ones to come off. All the nuts are off, but I can't get the studs to pull through the bushings. I've tried prying with a screwdriver, but no go. What's the proper technique for this? Is there some tool to use, other than a BFH?

Brent, run over the Pep Boys and and get a pickle fork. Insert in the groove and use your bfh to separate parts.;)

try this

hit the side of the pit man arm where the stud goes through just hit and hard and maybe if you get lucky it will come apart, some do and some don't. good luck
