Need advise on new turbo with my mods

I have a 87 GN with 30k on it. I have only a few mild mods and I am not trying to turn this car into some kind of monster.
Motor internals are stock, trans is stock along with converter.
I've installed msd 50lb injectors, CAI, Hooker exhaust, afpr, 160 thermostat, TurboTweak chip, walbro fuel pump with wire kit. I think thats it.

I'm looking for a direct bolt on turbo to replace the stock one.

Check with Bison, I read that he will have a 5557 CEA Billet wheeled turbo with .63 AR Garrett housing coming available in the next couple of weeks. If you're looking for a modern, quick spooling turbo to replace the stocker....this would be it!

What about a TA49?

Yup, that'd work fine too!
There are a bunch of newer turbos available now that are basically an updated TA49/TE44.
Guess whatever you can get a good deal on. Just be sure its got the Garrett .63 A/R housing on it. This will ensure a quick spooling turbo!
