Should be any different than the GN starters, so you should be able to use the compact mini LT1 starter that a lot of GN guys use.... But I have never had my starter go bad yet on the TTA or GN..they are the factory originals.
Picked up a Duralast rebuilt LT4 starter from Autozone this evening. Amazing how small it is compared to the original. Autozone gets 119.00 for these. Thanks for the help.
A ford starter solenoid will fix the hot start problem also for about 12 bucks. You lose alot of voltage thru the ignition switch. You just need to wire the ford part up to get battery voltage to the gm solenoid.
